Enerpal is awarded the execution of the solar thermal plant for the production of Hot Water Sanitary in a promotion of 169 Apartments of Florestta Sanchinarro in Madrid.

The installation will consist of 80 thermal collectors of maximum efficiency, with a total installed capacity of 140 kW thermal, dissipation systems, heat exchangers, storage tanks of Hot Water Sanitary as well as the elements of regulation-control of the installation, which will allow That housing covers more than 60% of the annual demand for hot water by solar thermal energy, causing the building to avoid the emission of 34.07 tons of CO2 per year into the atmosphere.

By implementing this type of systems in buildings, high improvements in energy efficiency are achieved, allowing real estate developers to provide their customers with more efficient and environmentally friendly housing and thus improving the housing stock of cities.

Enerpal plans to start the solar thermal plant during the month of February 2017 and is expected to start up at the end of the second quarter of this year.
